My Thighs

So if you don't realize this yet, carrying my 25 pound backpack all over campus has made my thighs rock hard. Not even joking. Like as I sit in this chair, I can feel their hardness. I just want you all to know this fact about my changing body.

Quizzes

Just so everybody knows, I'm completely bombing my first 2 quizzes. First one, I got 17 out of 26 so I studied for 4 hours. Second one, I got 16 out of 25. So I'm gonna study for 5 hours and try again tomorrow. (We have a quiz everyday.)

Thoughts on Communityl Bathrooms

So I have a community bathroom. No, it's not one of those big public ones. Everybody has a measure of privacy. But there are certain things that occur to me about it.

1-We have four stalls. I can only use two.... In stall 1 somebody has done their businese and never flushed it. after 3 days, it is still there. Apparently we are all too scared or disturbed to actually enter it and flush the toilet. In stall 2, the toilet is out of order. Twice, I have seen that toilet emptied of its contents with clean water. And twice somebody has ignored the out of order sign on the front of it and done their business there. Come on guys. We're in college, we can read a sign. Let's get with the program.

2-Who actually came up with the idea of setting up the showers where they all have the same floor and aren't really divided... but seriously, is the saving of materials really worth it? Just saying cause kinda crosses me out when stuff come into my side that doesn't come from me. Especially yellow body wash. I only knew it was body wash because I saw the bottle. Otherwise, it could have been worse. Don't like the worrying about foot fungus even though I am wearing shower shoes.

3-Why has it not been cleaned since May 7th? Don't wanna sound rude or anything, but our little check off sheet has not been done since then. Would kinda like to have some soap in the dispenser. Don't like having to walk back to my room and grab some with wet hands cause I forgot.

4-Did you know Crosby is a girls dorm? That's right, so that mean....no urinals in the bathroom. Makes things really annoying cause I don't know about other guys, but I don't wanna take that critical few seconds to close the door of it, but it feels wrong if I don't. What's up with this administration? Why we putting the guys in there?

I have more questions, but not about the bathroom. I'll save those for some other time.

What Describes College The Most

So.... today I had my epiphany of what college is... College is... Walking.... Not even kidding. I walked from dorm to shower, shower to dorm ( 2 minutes), dorm to Croft (10 minutes uphill), Croft to lunch (5 minutes), lunch to find textbooks (25 minutes through the bookstore because i got lost), bookstore to Croft (15 mins), Croft to language lab (20 mins), language lab to ID (10 minutes), ID to parking services (15 mins uphill), parking services to dorm (30 mins downhill), dorm to Croft (10 mins uphill). I feel like all I've really done today is walk and go to class. Kinda a little idea of what college means to me.... Definitely need a bike though, so help a brother out.

So First Day

Alright, so I recently decided it would be awesome to blog my Freshman Summer. That's right, I said summer! I sound like nerd and all but I'm studying Chinese. Flagship Program (woop woop!) I moved in on Memorial Day and met my roommate and my neighbors. I'm staying in Crosby Hall. O and to ya'll reading this who don't know, I'm going to Ole Miss. Hotty Toddy!

Anyways, today is my first day of class. I have orientation to Chinese today @ 10 and a special orientation @ 1. Not quite sure yet what I'm gonna do about lunch though..... But I'm gonna hit up Wal-Mart today with Ryan and Rob after classes. Maybe play a little Diablo or go to the real heck of studying (GAH!!!!)

But ya..... I'm not quite sure what to do with all this yet. This is only a prototype right now. Funness. My current status of my room is a state of..... demolition and/or disarray. Mostly cause I have no laundry basket, bedside table, sheets (i have a sleeping bag. it sucks.), trash bags, or minifride. My current food consists of one pop-tart, some hot cheetos, raman noodles, easy mac, and bottled water. Haha. Ya, told you all my freshman 15 would be a loss.

Well I'm gonna be getting off of here. Got class pretty soon and I'm not gonna be late! I'll try to get another post in here before I go to bed tonight.
