Irony

So, if you haven't heard, there was an arrest made by a white police officer of a black Harvard professor. I won't bore you with the details. However, if the police officer is telling the truth that the man failed to show ID and really shouted those things, I completely agree with the decision to arrest him. Now, my point is there is a certaing irony or coincidence if you will about this case. The arresting officer's name is... Jim CROWley. Just something to ponder there.

O, and President Obama should have stayed out of it.

If you are not aware, Thursday and Friday are finals. And I have my final project due on Friday. Simply put, pray for a brutha.

Similarites Of Life

So, the other day somebody on my floor became slightly insane in the head and decided to play Legend of Zelda. Not saying that people who play Legend of Zelda are insane, just he was. Apparently, the newest one, Twilight Princess, directly influences perception. For instance, when he went outside.... he saw tree people. I never claimed to understand it. He also so the supposedly invisible poes and attempted to catch them in coke bottles. At some point, he decided to throw away his stick and upgrade to the "master sword". I'm not quite sure what the master sword was, because all of my understanding I have gained from this is from him returning to my floor afraid of tree people, catching poes and attempting to sell them, and his hunt for the master sword. Now, the next day I discovered him depressed due to his not having found his Princess Zelda. However, he did tell me "I beat my first boss." I was afraid to ask him to clarify what that could mean.

Squirrels

What's up with these little buggers at Ole Miss? They are unafraid of everything! I went for a run the other day and kicked one that I didn't even notice! Is this kind of squirrel behavior normal or are there maybe mutant squirrels on the University of Mississippi campus? That is a distinct possibilty. Watch out! I bet they will one day band together and rule the campus! That's if they're mutants though.... And if they eventually become smart enough to get out of the way of absent minded joggers. You be the judge.
